There will be a planned water outage on Thursday, May 7, 2020 for Merrimon Avenue from 10 pm – 5 AM. Customers in the area of Merrimon Avenue between Brookdale Road and Elkwood Road may notice a loss of pressure and/or flow during these hours as system improvements are made.
April 30, 2020, 8:15 AM – Water outage, Green Oak Road
Crews are repairing a water main break on Woodfin Avenue. Customers on Green Oak, Rosecrest Court, and surrounding areas may experience loss of water pressure and/or flow. This site will be updated as more information is available.

Water is being restored at this time to homes in North Woodland Hills. Customers may notice discolored water and/or air in their water and should let water run clear before using it for drinking or washing white laundry.

The water outage for View Street & Mulberry Street is concluded. All customers should have water restored at this time.

The water outage for Old NC Highway 20 has concluded. Customers may experience some air in lines or discolored water and should let it run clear before drinking or using to wash white laundry.
Boil water Advisory – Tuesday, March 31, 2020
The boil water advisory, effective 9:45 PM Sunday, March 29th, 2020, for District customers in the New Stock Road area has been lifted.
Sun, Mar. 29, 2020 – New Stock/Woodland Hills
Customers in the New Stock Road/ Woodland Hills area are experiencing an outage due to a City of Asheville break. Estimated time of repair is 10 PM. Customers may notice discolored water after repairs are completed and should let water run until clear before using for drinking or washing white laundry.
Sat. March 28, 2020, 8:30 PM – Sunny Ridge
Crews are still repairing a water main break on Sunny Ridge at this time.
Mar. 11, 2020, 2:30 PM – water outage, West Buncombe
Water is being restored in West Buncombe at this time from the earlier water main break. Customers may notice air in their lines and discolored water for a short time and should let water run clear before using it for cooking, drinking or washing white laundry.
