District crews are repairing contractor damage on the District’s main water feed. Customers in Beaver Lake, Lookout Road, Elk Mountain Riad, Washington Avenue, and many other areas may notice loss of water flow and/or pressure while repairs are being made. There will be a planned water outage for the top of Leisure Mountain on Thursday, September 6, 2018. This outage will affect customers in the Foxfire Development only and is expected to last for several hours as final connections for the new water main are completed.
The water outage in the Baird Cove Road area has been resolved.
Some customers in the Erwin Hills/Olivette Road area may experience lower than normal water pressure. District personnel are reviewing the issue and more information will be posted on this site as it becomes available. Customers who experience complete water loss should contact our office at 253-5551.
The planned outage for the Sherwood Heights area is concluded.
There is a water main break at the top of Leisure Mountain. Customers beyond the Firefox entrance will have low/no water flow or pressure. Crews are working on the problem at this time. This site will be updated as more information is available.
Customers in the Elkwood Avenue service area might experience low water pressure as a contractor has damaged a water line. Customers may notice low pressure or loss of flow as the line is repaired. Estimated time of repair right now is approximately 5 PM.
The District is working on a water line outage in the Weaverville Highway area. No repair time is available at this time. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
Crews are currently working on a water main outage on Union Street. Union Street, Walnut Street, Rosecrest Lane, and New Walnut street may experience low water pressure and/or loss of flow. Estimated time of repair is several hours.
Crews are currently working on a water main break on Old Leicester Highway. Customers in the Erwin Hills area may experience loss of pressure or flow while repairs are made. Repairs are expected to take 3-4 hours; this site will be updated as more information is available.
