Landlord / Rental Owner Water Service

As the property owner or rental company, you are responsible for all bills generated in your name. However, you are not responsible for charges in a tenant’s name, provided the tenant has properly applied for and been granted water service.

It is the responsibility of the property owner or manager to ensure that tenants apply for water service in a timely manner.

Any water, sewer, or recycling charges generated in the landlord’s name because a tenant failed to properly apply for service will remain the responsibility of the property owner.
