Office reopening

The District lobby will reopen on Monday, June 1st, at 9 AM. The District lobby will be open Monday-Thursday from 9 AM – 4 PM, and closed for lunch from 12-1 PM. Customers with any symptoms of illness are not permitted in the District lobby, and customers are limited to no more than one individual in the lobby at any one time. Customers visiting our lobby are requested to wear face protection for the safety of themselves and our employees. Extended operation hours are available online & via telephone. All hours of operation are posted on our website under “Contact Us”. 

COVID-19 Office Closure

All District offices are closed to the public until further notice in response to the COVID-19 efforts. Customers may access all functions of the District through our website, including paying bills, requesting a leak adjustment, applying for or stopping service, and virtually all other requests. District staff will respond to phone inquiries as normal during this time. After-hours emergencies may be reported by calling our office and speaking to an on-call technician. 

March 18, 2020 – COVID-19 information

Beginning Wednesday, March 18, 2020, all District offices will be closed to the public as a precaution against the COVID-19 virus. All District functions can be accessed online, including bill payment, leak adjustment requests, starting and stopping service, and other issues. Customers who do not have credit cards or banking accounts will need to obtain money orders and mail them to the District as all in-person payments have been temporarily halted. All other customers should utilize online or by-mail payment options or sign up for automated bank draft. Public access to District offices will be closed until further notice as we work with the state, county, and other authorities to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus. 
Customers with an emergency may call our office at 253-5551 and service will be provided. 

Winter weather early closing – Feb. 20, 2020

Due to inclement winter weather, the District’s main office will close at 12 PM on Thursday, Feb. 20th. All District functions are available online, including bill pay, leak adjustment requests, new service requests, and other issues. Emergencies such as a water line break can be addressed by calling our office at 828-253-5551. Please note that emergency dispatchers are unable to answer billing or other questions not related to an emergency. 

Office closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

District offices will be closed Monday, January 20, 2020 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Emergency service can be initiated through our after-hours service by calling our office. Please note that after-hours dispatch cannot answer billing or other such questions. 

Holiday hours

District offices will be closed December 24th through the 26th for the Christmas holiday. Offices will also be closed January 1st for the New Year’s holiday and January 20th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Virtually all requests are available online, including bill payment, starting and stopping service, and other information. Office closed for Labor Day

District offices will be closed Monday, September 2, 2019 in observance of Labor Day. Customers with emergencies such as a water line leak or break may contact our office at 828-253-5551 to access after-hours emergency service. Please note that emergency dispatch cannot answer any questions regarding billing, usage, rates, leak adjustments, or other inquiries not related to a water emergency. All functions such as signing up or stopping service, paying a bill, and other functions can be handled online. 

District offices closed for Independence Day

District offices will be closed Thursday, July 4, 2019 in observance of Independence Day. Virtually all District functions can be accessed online, such as starting or stopping service, making a payment, or turning in a leak adjustment. Please browse our website for our full range of options. 

Memorial Day Hours

District offices will be closed on Monday, May 27th, 2019 in observance of Memorial Day. Emergencies such as a water line leak or break can be reported by calling our office and selecting the emergency contact option. After-hours personnel are unable to answer any questions regarding billing, leak adjustments, and other such issues. All other features are available online. 

Office closed – May 2-3, 2019

The District office will close at 12 pm on Thursday, May 2nd for repairs. The office will reopen on Monday, May 6th at 8:30 am. All requests can be handled online, including payments, starting and stopping service, and other issues. If you have an emergency please call 253-5551 and select option 9 and you will be routed to our after hours emergency service.
