Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

District offices will be closed on Monday, January 18th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Offices will reopen at 8 AM on Tuesday, January 19th.

Holiday Hours

The District offices will be closed January 1 for New Year’s Day. 24 hour emergency service is available for leaks or water line breaks by calling our main office number. Our after-hours service cannot answer billing questions or other general inquiries.

Summer block rates are in effect – please conserve water!

The District would like to remind high-water residential users that summer block rates are now in effect until November of this year. The first block does not start until a residential user hits nearly 15,000 gallons of water; specific information on rates can be found on our rates page. Though water has so far been plentiful this year, the District would like to remind all that conserving water is the easiest and least expensive way to save money on your water bill! Also, for those homeowners so inclined, the District offers rebates for users who install certain water-saving devices. More information is available on the District’s website or by following the link here.

Avoid disconnect! Pay online!

If you recently received a disconnection notice for failure to pay, you can pay online and avoid disconnect and a $50 service charge! Please review payment options from our home page. You can also sign up for bi-monthly automatic payment withdrawal from your banking institution to avoid future interruptions!

May 3, 2015 – Online Bill Pay

The online bill pay portal is having difficulties this weekend and will be reviewed on Monday, May 4th. In the meantime, customers may try using our telephone portal or calling our office on Monday morning.

Received a disconnect notice? Pay online!

Customers who received telephone or printed disconnection notices are encouraged to pay online. Payment can be made by clicking on “Make a Payment” under the “Service” tab or on the home page. A valid account number and the last four digits of your phone number of record are required. Payments made online through the weekend of March 28-29 will be processed on the morning of Monday, March 30. Don’t risk disconnection – if you are having trouble making your payment, contact us immediately! We offer payment arrangements and in some cases can refer you to agencies that may be able to assist you, including through our low income program.

Monday, March 2 – Fire in West Buncombe

Customers in the Olivette Road area may experience lower water pressure due to a fire. The West Buncombe Fire Department is fighting a structure fire in the Olivette Road area and utilizing area hydrants.

Wednesday, Feb. 18 – Office hours

Due to the possibility of winter weather, the main District office may close early if conditions deteriorate. Customers are reminded that all administrative functions can be handled through our automated online forms, including payments, requests for service, service disconnect requests, and other such features. Customers with a smart phone or computer with internet connection can take advantage of any of these features. Payments can also be made automated via telephone!

Winter storm – pay your bill online!

With the upcoming winter storm, the District would like to remind customers that nearly all requests and functions handled by the District, including payments, can be accomplished from the comfort of your own home! There’s no need to get out in this winter storm when request for service connections or disconnections, payments, leak adjustments, or rebate offers can be completed online from a computer or your smart phone. Even 24-hour emergency service can be handled by calling our office at 828-253-5551.
