Due to freezing rain and dangerous conditions, our main office is closed today, Friday, January 25th. We will reopen at 8 AM on Monday, January 28th.
Repairs to the District's main in the Reems Creek area are complete and all service should be restored.
The water line break on Elkmont Drive has been repaired and all service has been restored.
The water line break on Elkwood Avenue has been repaired. Water should be restored to all locations at this time and pressure should become normalized.
There will be a water outage on Thursday, December 13, 2012 to make repairs to the water system. The affected areas will be customers in the Reems Creek area and Sherwood Heights areas. Water is expected to be interrupted for approximately three hours, from 9 AM until 12 PM.
A water main broke on Elk Mountain Road about 12 PM this afternoon, Tuesday, November 20th, 2012. Crews are finishing repairs as of 1:30 PM and water should return to all customers shortly. Mild discoloration is harmless and can be flushed by letting the faucet run for a few minutes.
A herd of goats has recently been tasked with clearing the heavy brush on the Woodfin Resvoir dam. The goats arrived on Monday (July 23) and have begun munching their way though the thick brush overlooking Woodfin’s water treatment plant.
